It is written as a plain statement of what you may expect from this site and what we ask of you. We do not claim that browsing a public web page makes you a party to a contract; where a specific feature genuinely requires your agreement, we ask for it explicitly at that point. These terms are published in French and English, and the two versions are intended to be equivalent; in dealings subject to mandatory French-language rules, the French version applies.
What this site is, and what it is not
simplevisa.com presents SimpleVisa's services for travel businesses and publishes editorial content about travel-document requirements. Nothing is sold on this site: there are no user accounts, no checkout, and no online subscription to a paid service. The pages describing our API, pricing models and services are information about what we offer, not an offer capable of acceptance — a contract for those services is concluded only through a separately signed agreement, and API keys are issued only under such an agreement. Travellers apply for documents on apply.simplevisa.net, which has its own terms; these do not extend to it.
Using the site
You may browse, read and link to this site freely for any lawful purpose. Search-engine and AI crawlers are welcome on public pages, within the boundaries published in our robots.txt and llms.txt. What we ask you not to do: disrupt or probe the site's security, misrepresent an affiliation with SimpleVisa, or extract and reuse a substantial part of our requirements data or guides — the collection is protected as a database under articles L341-1 and L342-1 of the French Code de la propriété intellectuelle, and bulk republication or resale of it requires our written permission.
Content and intellectual property
The content of this site (text, guides, illustrations, logos, trademarks, and the software running it) belongs to Simple or its licensors. You may quote short excerpts with attribution and a link to the source page. Statutory exceptions to copyright and database rights are unaffected by anything on this page. Beyond that, reproducing or adapting site content for commercial use requires our prior written permission.

Requirement information on this site — visa, passport, transit, health-document and entry rules — is published for general information. We work from official and other sources we consider reliable and update pages when rules change, but requirements move at short notice and vary with nationality, residence, itinerary, transit points and individual circumstances. This content is not legal or immigration advice, and nothing here guarantees that a visa or permission to enter will be granted. Before booking or travelling, confirm current requirements with the relevant embassy, consulate, immigration authority and carrier; where this site and an authority's current instructions differ, the authority's instructions prevail. Businesses that contract our API or desk service receive contractual commitments about requirement data in their signed agreement, and only there. Spotted an error? The current version and its revision date are published here and apply from publication, prospectively — an update does not retroactively alter anything already done, and it never modifies a separately signed agreement. Previous versions are available on request.
Governing law and jurisdiction
This site and these terms are governed by French law, subject to any mandatory rules that apply to you. Disputes are brought before the courts having jurisdiction under applicable law. WHERE BOTH PARTIES HAVE ACTED AS TRADERS (COMMERÇANTS), THE TRIBUNAL DE COMMERCE DE BORDEAUX HAS EXCLUSIVE JURISDICTION.
